Cheryl J. Jackson is the President and CEO of Carrnise & Company, LLC, a healthcare management consulting firm. Carrnise & Company consultants and partners have over 30 years of healthcare provider-based consulting and management experience. Our consultants have proven success in resolving organizational, administrative, management, compliance, marketing, and strategic planning challenges. Cheryl and her partners’ business objective is to improve their clients bottom line by eliminating misappropriated resources and excess waste, while providing training on efficiency tools, productivity skills, and cost-effective lessons,. Moreover, our diverse backgrounds and hands-on experience allow us to bring extensive insight and creativity to each of our client engagements. Our team consists of medical doctors, PsyD, RN, MBA, CPA, NP, certified IT, practice administrators, and certified billers.
An explorer and creator at an early age, Cheryl was born with the passion to serve and give. Number eight, born and raised in Washington, DC, she spent most of her time being loved, nourished and protected by her eight siblings. Inspired by her mother to volunteer in the healthcare environment, Cheryl quickly realized healthcare management was her calling. Clearly, there was no stopping her growth in the medical environment. She started her career as an entry-level medical office assistant and worked her way up to becoming one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s top healthcare executive. Through driven results and commitment to serve healthcare providers in managing their offices, drove her to create her own business, Carrnise & Company LLC. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, she has earned an unparalleled reputation for her ability to listen and understand the needs of her clients to deliver successful outcomes.
Cheryl is committed to inspire her clients and their staff, thus promoting their entrepreneurial visions. Her education and training in Healthcare Management includes George Washington University, Prince Georges Community College, and currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix. She is a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter and a Certified Administrator Physician Practice Manager. She is an active member of the National Association of Healthcare Consultants & American Academy of Medical Management. Cheryl enjoys traveling, prison ministry, volunteering for youth at risk, Arthur Ashe Educational Center, and spending time with her grandchildren. On Sundays, you can find Cheryl worshiping at the Church of the Redeemer in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
